Join us for September's Kidical Mass Ride!
We couldn't let the month pass without another awesome Kidical Mass adventure, and this time, we're heading down Tacoma's Water Flume Trail!
🔸 Meet: South Park, Tacoma
🔸 When: Sept 28th 9:30 AM meetup, 10 AM ride
🔸 Route: 3.5-mile round trip
We'll ride along the Water Flume Trail, cruise past Edison Elementary, and make a stop at the STAR Center for some playground fun! 🌳🎉 Afterward, we’ll loop back through the neighborhood and pass by the South Tacoma Sounder Station.
Bring the family and let’s roll together! 🚲💫

Parking Day With DTOTG
October 2nd 10am-2pm
​Join us for Park(ing) Day, where we’re transforming metered parking spaces into creative parklets! In partnership with UW Tacoma, we invite students, organizations, and businesses to reimagine parking spaces as unique mini-parks for the afternoon. From beach-themed setups to mini golf courses and art displays – anything goes!

Participate in the "Favorite Design" competition, connect with the community, and have fun! Spaces will be assigned on S Jefferson St. & S 19th St or on campus, with setup starting in the morning. The event opens at 10 a.m. and wraps up at 2 p.m., with a vote for the favorite parklet at the end.

Bike Stories
October 5th 6-9pm
​Celebrate the joy of cycling at our annual Bike Stories event! Join us at the Tacoma Armory for a night of storytelling, a Bike Fashion Show, and a silent auction. This year’s theme, Pedal Through the Ages, showcases bikes and fashion from different eras.
Doors open at 6 PM, with the fashion show from 6:30-7:15 PM, auction at 7:30 PM, and captivating bike stories from 8-9 PM. Don’t miss this fun, community-filled evening!

Bike 101 – October 28th, 6-8 PM

New to cycling or want to brush up on the basics? Join us for Bike 101 on Thursday, October 28th, from 6-8 PM! This class covers essential bike maintenance, safety tips, and riding skills to get you rolling confidently.
It's a pay-what-you-can event, with a suggested donation of $20. All skill levels are welcome! No registration needed just show up.

Enjoy a delicious meal while hearing inspiring keynote speakers share personal stories of how bicycles have transformed their lives. This special event is not just about celebrating cycling; it's about the impact it has on our community and the lives we touch.
Come be a part of this memorable night, where every story and every donation helps support our mission to make cycling accessible to all.

2nd Cycle Annual Gala: Bike Stories – Pedal Through the Ages
Join us at the historic Tacoma Armory on October 5th for 2nd Cycle's annual gala, Bike Stories. This year's theme, "Pedal Through the Ages," celebrates the evolution of cycling culture with an evening of entertainment, including a Bike Fashion Show, a lively auction, and our cherished tradition of sharing personal bike stories. The event kicks off at 6 PM, with the fashion show from 6:30-7:15 PM, followed by an auction at 7:30 PM, and concluding with bike stories from 8-9 PM.
We're working hard to secure funding to keep ticket prices low, ensuring that this event, like all our efforts, remains accessible to everyone. Don't miss this unique celebration of all things cycling!
